EXHIBITION:
MUSEUM GUBUG WAYANG
The Gubug Wayang Museum was founded by Yensen Project Indonesia as a form of concern for the diverse arts and culture of Indonesia. Love for history, art and culture, provides the spirit to maintain and preserve. Inaugurated on August 15, 2015 by Mr. Drs Suyadi/Pak Raden. On August 15, 2017, the Museum was owned by Sendjojo Njoto Seni Budoyo and Yensen Project Indonesia. In the IVCA 2026 exhibition theme, the Gubug Wayang Museum will exhibit a replica of the Penny Farthing which we then call the "Big Wheel" bicycle from many types and models that have been produced throughout the world, this replica is handmade by Arianto Putra Purbalingga.
In 2017, Mr. Arianto, a young man from Purbalingga began making a big wheel bicycle after being inspired by a television show. He started with a small version, then later developed it into a large version thanks to the support of his friends. In 2019, he collaborated with the Gubug Wayang Museum to create a large wheel bicycle that initially only had one bicycle, and has now grown to approximately 30 units with various sizes and models. Large wheel bicycles are now increasingly in demand by the public, not only cyclists, but also art lovers because of their artistic shape. Its potential continues to grow, because each Big Wheel maker has their own unique style.
